Creative Statement
Gene Moz is freelance photographer and a hi-end retoucher.
He began his career working on projects such as the L.L.Bean catalogs, Geoffrey Beene Atelier, fashion, jewelry and portraiture for major magazines and catalogs.
Gene’s photographs and retouching projects have appeared on Con Edison’s new fleet of trucks, Annual Reports, and the Con Edison website.
His retouching and photography has appeared on many book covers for Random House and Walker & Company.
Also, his photographs were used to illustrate the book, Yoga Face by Annelise Hagen published by Penguin.
Lancome and Maybelline advertisements have featured his work . He also retouched several stop-motion covers for the digital issues of Brides magazine for the iPad.
Gene’s patience, attention to detail and expertise allow him to meet challenges quickly and on time.
