Creative Statement

The best days, are those spent on the beach, with Jim and the kids, not a care in the world, while the roll around in the sand and splash in the bay.

I went to JMU from 1996 - 2000, graduated with a BBA in Accounting and Finance. I met Jim within 3 weeks of graduation, drunk in a bar (crazy charlie's at the block). i was with laura clayton (still my best friend). we dated for 14 months long distance while he finished college in FLA, he is a science guy so it took a little longer... you know, organic chem... He moved here in Aug 2001, engaged in May 2002, married 4 months later, on Sept 28, 2002, our 28th 28th!!!! All that time i worked for KPMG LLP in norfolk as an auditor. after 3 years of being an auditor, i didnt want to do that any more so i left the firm. I hung out for a bit, started back to school at ODU for a masters and went back to Rudy and Kelly Hairstylist, Inc (the salon mom worked for for 20 years, i had been a shampoo girl and desk girl thru college) and started Pampered Chef all in summer 2003. Had Drew in May 2004, broke my leg in 3 places in Dec 2005, so that put an end to ODU. Worked more and More for R&K and PC. Had Mia in Oct 2006. Now, I work about 4 days as the GM for R&K, in their main office in VB and I am a Director with PC. Love them both and are super flexible! Jim has had 4 different positions with Ecolochem, Now GE, since we met in 2000. He now works from home mostly as a Resource Manager for GE Mobile Water in Latin America, which requires him to travel 2 weeks of every month.

Drew is 5.5 and loves kindergarten at my old elem school. Mia is 3 and loves goinig to school 3 days a week. They are super fantastic kids, very socialable and easy going. I love just to sit back and watch them do their thing. It is highly entertaining. just watch the videos i uploaded!
