Case Study: FWD Insurance


FWD Insurance group is a well-known insurance company located primarily in Asia, offering life and medical insurance, general insurance and employee benefits across a number of its markets. They needed content that matches their brand with an Asian focus for their primary target market. With a global community, Snapwire was a great source to help.


Needing on-brand content for a new marketing campaign that showcased people celebrating life across Asia, Snapwire worked in collaboration with FWD to employ a few different content generation techniques. They were looking for genuine and authentic images of people enjoying new experiences or spontaneous moments. It was important that a few of the photos sourced were exclusive but still affordable.


Snapwire approached FWD's needs in a two step tactic. First, Snapwire helped them launch a general challenge titled "Celebrating Life Across Asia" to see what kinds of images our photographer community would generate on the theme. From the challenge, FWD identified a few photographers with a style they loved and worked directly with them to source the perfect exclusive custom content. They were able to experience the best of both worlds, having hundreds of images to choose from at a very affordable price and then creatively collaborating with the best photographers to make their original vision a reality.
