Case Study: Canva

Founded in 2012, Canva is a graphic-design tool website that uses drag-and-drop format to help anyone create professional designs and graphics. Non-designers as well as professionals can use the platform to create pic collages, logos, invitations, posters and any other graphics you may need. Canva is available on iPhones, iPads, and computers so creating, editing, and sharing is easy for everyone.

Canva’s immense library helps many people around the world produce design graphics but they were lacking in imagery that depicted some of the largest countries in the world. Canva wanted to obtain lifestyle imagery that depicted diverse family life around the world. They were looking for photos that represented people from 10 nationalities, including Russia, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, France, Germany, the Philippines, Japan, India and China.

Snapwire was able to create a content library of 10K photos. The variety of lifestyle content of families and individuals from all around the world represented people from many different cultures and ethnicities.
