Description:

Pillbox at Angle, Pembrokeshire, Wales. The disused and truncated windmill overlooking Angle was converted into a defence post during World War 2 by the insertion of a concrete floor and machine-gun loops. It formed part of the defences of the adjacent Battle Headquarters, but unfortunately the battle H.Q is now flooded. The Pillbox now sits incongruously surrounded by rapeseed.
