Orangutan (Pongo pygmaeus wurmbii) at Tanjung Puting National Park, Indonesia. Orangutans are the largest arboreal animal on the planet. Most of their lives are spent in trees where orangutans travel from branch to branch by climbing, clambering, and brachiating. Unfortunately, deforestation and other human activities, such as hunting, have placed the orangutan in danger of extinction.
