Looking for "Hero" beauty drink shot of Scotch Whisky on wood or barrel in cooperage/distillery setting

The focus of story is the variety of barrel treatments being used in Scotch. Much of the article is about different TYPES of barrels, based on what they were used for previously โ€“ sherry and bourbon in particular. .

Can have 1 glass (on rocks or neat) on pile of wood planks or sitting on top of barrel with more barrels, wood shavings or warehouse in background. Prefer to see old, rustic tools on alongside (hammer, knife, gauges, etc.). Shallow depth of field. Focus should be on drink/glass. No branding/bottles.

Prefer Natural daylight setting, possibly window/ambient lighting in background. Also prefer "cooler" tones. Do NOT want it to look like it was staged or shot on a set. 90ยบ or 45ยบ angle preferred.

8 years ago - Hi all, looking good so far. Definitely need to have barrels in shot and coopering tools if possible. The focus is all about the wood.Prefer the cooler tones so far.

8 years ago - Thanks @liamkelly I had the benefits of being a Kentucky boy on this one
8 years ago - @nathan seeing how you have the only 3 nominated at the moment, I think you may comment ;) Love your work!
8 years ago - If I may comment, I'd say it's more about the barrels than anything, since the two main reasons for this article is scotch and bourbon barrels. Tools are additives, and the type of tools would have to be a cooperage tool... Mallet and chisel type
8 years ago - @larrylee- I see that the nominated photos have a bit of a different look than your sketch...are you looking for a cleaner shot without tools? Please advise. Thanks in advance.
8 years ago - @larrylee -are legs in the glass bad? And "hero" suggests a lower angle shooting up towards the subject right? One of these times I will nail your assignment... thanks for providing opportunities to drink while working!
8 years ago - @stevewarwick Good luck ;)
