This challenge is about Tabletop Shooting. The best photo gets $125, and the most creative will be chosen for Premium Collection.

A rustic and heavily textured wooden surface is a a classic and beautiful background for any still life image. We are looking for your tabletop images that utilize a wooden background. A classic wooden surface is a perfect addition of any sort of tabletop or still life imagery. Subjects can range from a stylized display of delicious food, to an assortment of rustic and weathered tools or antiques. Images can also include people. The subject is open to your interpretation, but a nicely textured surface should be an integral part of the feeling of your images. For inspiration, think of the types of images that you would find in many of your favorite home decor or upscale food magazines. Good Luck and Happy Shooting!

9 years ago - @SamanthabBlayre either type of wooden surface would be acceptable, as long as the image is done in the style of the brief.
9 years ago - @linze118 Images that are purchased in photo challenges are usually just bought to show our favorite shot that was submitted. Occasionally such images may be used for promotional reasons, but not always.
9 years ago - Hello @snapwire, In the brief, I noticed that rustic and textured was tightly mentioned; however I also read that "a classic wooden background" was also stated. Does the background have to be "rustic", or is non-rustic wood acceptable? Thanks!
