Hi, I’m James. I'm a Toronto-based freelance photographer. Through years of growing a photography instagram account under the handle @macklesome, my work is well recognized not only locally within the GTA, but also internationally. I'm passionate about taking great photos. I have had the privilege of being able to share my work to hundreds of thousands of viewers and loyal fans over the years I've built my brand.My goal as a photographer is to create images/visuals that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but are also able to elicit emotion from the viewer; to have them stop scrolling down their feed for even just a second to appreciate how beautiful the world can be if you take the time to view it differently. The quality and attention to detail that I strive to achieve in my personal art can also be seen in my professional body of work. Some of my work includes creating lifestyle and commercial marketing materials for companies like McDonald’s, Google, Virgin Mobile, and RBC. I’ve also done a plethora of work for small businesses such as The Peace Collective, Blaze Pizza, and local breweries in the GTA. I have expertise in real estate photography and video, as well as with creating high quality product photography for online retailers.
