I'm a follower of Christ and fully believe the Bible is the inerrant word of God. What does that mean? It means I have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. God excepts no less than perfection and bc I have sinned I need a savior. My salvation is found in Jesus Christ. He was God and man at the same time. Though he was tempted, he lived a sinless, perfect life on earth and was crucified and buried sealed in a tomb, ultimately for my sins. He then rose from the dead and now, bc of him, my sins are covered. My debt is paid in full. When God looks at me, all He sees is Christ. Perfection. I don't deserve this gracious gift of salvation. I'm a wretched sinner. I'm scum. I deserve an eternity in hell, separated from God, an eternity in complete agony. But, God called me to Him. (Not in a literal, Moses and the burning bush spoke to me kind of way.) And now, through Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, I am saved. Not bc I do good things or behave a certain way. I'm not saved by my works, therefore I have no reason to be prideful. It's all God.
I'm married to Travis Whitaker and God has blessed us with over 8 years of marriage and counting! Everything else about me is pretty much covered elsewhere on my page.
