Creative Statement

I am a Halloween born 28 year old. I am from the good ole state of North Carolina. I'm obsessed with all things pertaining to beauty, wellness, the environment and especially Aveda. I'm an esthetician/skin care educator/freelance artist for Aveda. I love making people feel great about themselves through beauty and wellness. I want to help others and contribute my talents to making the world a better place. I believe learning is never ending, especially after my eight year career as an undergraduate student at UNCG ;) I finally graduated, with a degree I plan to do nothing with. I'm currently back in school for massage therapy and I absolutely love it! I can't wait till I'm finished so I can help people through the power of touch. When I have free time I'm running, writing, playing guitar, seeing a film with my bestie, traveling to see amazing live shows of some of my favorite artists/musicians, thrift shopping, antiquing in the mountains or snuggling with my darling companion and furry friend of 9 years Zuce. I often take moments to look up at the stars, contemplate in wonder and realize that we are all a unique part in the grand scheme of the universe. It's quite mystical and magical, and it's in those simple moments with nature and the stars above that make life so amazing.
