Creative Statement

Born and raised in NYC - and moved around between NYC, New Jersey, and Philadelphia until 1998, when I moved to the San Francisco Bay area after my 21st birthday vacation trip with my dad in Sept 1997. This week long trip to CA made me realize how much more gorgeous CA is than the East Coast. So I moved in January 1998, and started working as a Computer Programmer for several large companies in downtown SF - McKesson, Williams Sonoma, Esurance, Jessica McClintock, Inc., Conifer Securities.

After 10 years of doing this, I was introduced to an opportunity in Financial Services that allows me to work on my own time, as much or as little as I want. I started doing this part time – got my life insurance license and my securities license, which legally allows me to work with clients and help them become debt free and financially independent. I love helping people so this was a great opportunity for me to better families lives by putting them in a more sensible financial vehicle, while helping them save money on their Life Insurance, while at the same time invest the difference from their old insurance policy into an investment account where the family can use it to either build their retirement account, save money for a rainy day, or even save money for their kids’ college funds account.

The rewards were pretty amazing as the company sent us on a fully expensed paid trip to Cancun – and put us up at the Moon Palace Resort and Spa, which was totally amazing. Also, Orlando, FL, San Diego, CA, gorgeous location by the marina, with breathtaking views.

My relationship status is – there is no relationship, and hasn’t been one for a very long time. I’ve been single for years and years, which in some ways is good; but the bottom line is that it’s a very lonely way to live life, and I get depressed a lot because of it. I’ve had terrible experience in that department.

For fun, I love traveling the world. With two different resort ownerships, I typically go to Mexico each year (Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco), and sometimes take a second week to Hawaii (Maui, Oahu, Kona), or even to Europe and Asia. In the last few years, Paris, Spain, Phuket, Thailand, and my next trip is for Winter 2014 to either Boracay in the Philippines Islands, or a nice 2 week trip to Italy. The details are still being worked on.

I love music, was a professional guitar player since my early days in NYC, I started playing guitar at 15 and haven’t looked back. I played for several rock bands with my best friend at the time, who is a really great drummer. We played in many clubs and bars in the Northern NJ/NYC area. Jersey City, Hoboken, and in Manhattan. There was never a shortage of venues to set up on stage and perform. It was great times. In 1996, we put out a CD with 5 songs, all originals, created at a studio in South Jersey area.

Also, I love sports, mostly watching – being that I was brought up in NY, I became a Yankee fan by default, and never looked back. I was lucky enough to see all the success the Yanks put out in the late ‘90’s through the early 2000’s, and not so much since 2001 – except for 2009, which was an amazing year to win the World Series in the first season at the new Yankee Stadium.
