Creative Statement

The thing is, are you a Christian? Most people think they are. But, what is a Christian? People who: do good, help others, go to church, don't curse, don't lie, and are nice. WRONG. Scripture says, even demons believe. What do you mean even demons believe? Yeah. They believe. They know Christ is the son of the living God. Do they get to go to heaven? NO. Why? Because they are not saved. Do we even know what it means to be saved? To be a Christian? Alright, no more babying ourselves. Here it is. You want to know, this is what it means. ACTIVE RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST. You talk, you listen, you spend time with, you follow, you love, you adore, you are IN RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST!
Do you have a RELATIONSHIP with him? If not, sorry but you will go to hell. It breaks my heart. That's why you have to know. You have to know the truth. The truth is that Christ came to save us, from ourselves. From sin. From satan. From hell. God wants a relationship with us. He constantly is seeking after us. So now it's our turn.

Jesus says you can know a tree by its fruit. You see oranges hanging off branches...what kind of tree is it? An orange tree. You see apples hanging of limbs...what kind of tree is it? An apple tree. Do you have fruit? What fruit does a Christian have? Fruit that resembles Christ. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Jesus also gave us two commands. Two rules. 1. Love God. 2. Love others. Do you do that? Constantly? This is not a once a week thing, or a oh I woke up today and might just try this out kinda thing. This is living, breathing, sleeping, coming out of your pores, can't get enough...living like Christ and having that fruit. If you don't have fruit...chances are...you don't know Christ. How can you go to a heaven with a God that only wants you to worship Him and have a relationship with Him if you don't even know who He is...

Check your fruit. Check your faith.
