Creative Statement

I am a Kentucky based photographer, a lover of road trips, drive in movie theaters, my holga camera, thrift shopping, summertime, and of course my dog Loki and my husband Matt.

I love to photograph all things, especially my family and friends closest to me. When photographing couples or families, I like to approach them with the same fun and honest attitude. I really enjoy my life as a photographer and couldn't imagine doing anything else.

As one of my most favorite photographers (Mary Ellen Mark) once said and seemed to repeat often:

"Photograph the world as it is. Nothing's more interesting than reality." MEM
