Creative Statement

I am a political junkie living just outside of Seattle with my boyfriend, of 9 years, Steve. We have 2 crazy cats that are more like ADHD 3 year olds than cats. We spend our weekends wandering around the city or just sitting by the lake. I work as a nanny, and I love it. I get all the fun of raising kids without having to pay for college and braces all while having weekends and holidays off! Oh, and I get paid for it!
Most of you know that I am from the middle of nowhere but, now when I go back I get stir crazy! I read nonstop, I listen to talk radio as much as I possibly can, and I paint. I am much more a loner than I was growing up because I have learned that it is better to have a handful of true friends than a million acquaintances.
I have learned a lot of life lessons, and met people that I am eternally grateful for.
I realize now, how much I hated the first 18 years of my life and am happy to be where I am today.
